The Guidance Department consists of the Director of Guidance, five Counselors, the Nurse and Secretaries. Counselor will interview each student at least twice a year. Counselors also schedule interviews with students who are failing or have been referred by their teachers. Counselors are in their offices from 8:20 AM to 2:40 PM each day. The guidance office is not an alternative to lunch, free and/or study period(s). All resources may be used only after obtaining permission from a member of the guidance staff. A parent/guardian who wishes to speak with a guidance counselor may schedule an appointment by calling (718) 881-8000. |
