Academic Placement

Placement into a program of studies for freshmen year is based on the results of the TACHS examination and the Spellman Placement Test. There are three ninth grade programs:
All freshmen take: Religion Biology / Living Environment Global Studies 1 Music / Art Mathematics Health *Foreign Language *Freshmen in the Standard Program of Studies and the Honors Program of Studies begin a foreign language course in freshman year. Students are offered a choice of French, Spanish, Italian, or Latin. Freshmen in the Basic Program of Studies begin a foreign language course in sophomore year. |
