I welcome you to Cardinal Spellman High School. Cardinal Spellman is a Roman Catholic high school dedicated to the education of young men and women from ninth to twelfth grade. By recognizing God’s love and gifts present in each person, Spellman fosters academic, spiritual, and social growth.
Urban
Catholic schools achieve results with young people that exceed those in most
public school settings. Parents of these
children choose Catholic schools in many cases for that reason. The religious mission of Catholic schools is
part of that success, even for non-Catholics.
The religious aspect of the Catholic school system creates common expectations
and a sense of community. These

achievement. Spellman exceeds even those

I believe there is no better choice for secondary education than Cardinal Spellman High School. At Spellman, students grow academically, spiritually, and socially in an environment that fosters leadership and responsibility. Through our college preparatory program of studies, our superior athletic teams (which include city and state championships), and our wide variety of clubs and activities, students have countless opportunities for success. For over 50 years Cardinal Spellman has established a tradition of excellence. This tradition continues today. Students at Spellman have many opportunities to explore their future as they prepare for the challenges of further study. Boys and girls with dreams truly become men and women of vision.
It is with a tremendous respect for the traditions of Cardinal Spellman High School that I serve as Principal.
